Hail Damage - The most common type of damage you'll see on a roof in Oklahoma is hail damage. If the damage is isolated it can often be repaired, rather than replaced. Whether it is repaired or replaced is up to the insurance adjustor most the time. What an insurance adjustor looks for is a certain amount of damage across a specific measurement of roof. Typically they look for certain amount of hail damage across multiple 10ft x 10ft sections of your roof. If they can only find damage isolated to one location on the roof or one side of the roof, they will often recommend a roof repair instead of a total roof replacement.

Exposed Nail Head or "Nail Pops" - If you're seeing water stains in a random spot your ceiling or on your wall and you can't figure out where it's coming from, there's a good chance they are coming from small holes caused by nails in the roofing.
